There are currently no solutions to those issue
Story can be completed and you can 100% the game
It may prove hard for new comers as Collectibles and Checkpoints are not visible but not impossible to complete the game
-- You can check the chekpoints location from minimap. Minimap still shows where checkpoints are and since most checkipoints hitboxes are really large (Like whole street or so) you can complete missions easier
