Just finished "The Last Of Us" version 1.11, serial BCUS98174 without any crash or hang once I configured the RPCS3 with the help from a Youtube Video from "Santiago Santiago".

Though the framerate dropped terribly to 12 FPS at times, yet the game was absolutely playable till the very end. Max FPS I reached is about 28-30 FPS. But the AVERAGE framerate was about 16-20 FPS throughout the game. Since many of us have been playing games on Intel's integrated graphics, at least I am pretty much used to play games at low FPS. And this game is absolutely playable at least on my current hardware.

My PC Specs : Ryzen 5 3600, Nvidia RTX 2060 Super and 1 x 16GB RAM stick.

The RPCS3 configuration is shown in the video from above. But since the video is made on an older version of RPCS3, I was unable to find 2-3 settings he mentioned, so I just configured what I found and left what was not there. Plus, do not forget to apply game patches also shown in the video, configuration part.

I forgot to apply the "Enable GPU Lighting" in the patch and there were several black boxes every here and there in the Prologue. But once I checked it ON, the magic happened and the game ran absolutely fine till the very end without any crash or hang at all.

I'm not a tester and don't have much knowledge about what does what. Just wanted to share my kind of "FLAWLESS" gaming experience for "The Last Of Us" on RPCS3 with Ryzen 5 3600, RTX 2060 Super and 16GB of RAM.

Just hoping someone find this info useful and doesn't get downhearted at seeing "The Last Of Us" in "Ingame Issues" category. Just give it a try and maybe you'll find it playable as well (strictly pointing at the LOW FPS here). --Anonimusgamer (talk) 07:49, 14 August 2022 (UTC)
